I want you to know that I take your privacy very seriously and ask that you read this privacy notice carefully. It contains important information about who I am, how and why I collect, store, use and share your information and your rights in relation to this.
Who am I and what I do

I am Chris Ulliott, a trained and certified Strategic Interventions Life Coach as certified by Robins Madanes (https://rmtcenter.com) in 2019-2023. I provide life coaching services with the aim to help clients get more of what they want from their life and less of what they don't.

When you interact with me, you may choose to share some personal information with me, such as your name, contact details and information that is relevant to your life coaching sessions. I act as the Data Controller for the data you provide and this Privacy Policy outlines when and how I use any information that you give me, in line with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
I am committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. When you provide me with information, it will only be used in accordance with this Policy. I may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. This updated Policy is effective as of 1st June 2019 and gives you more control over your information and more clearly explains how I use it.
How This Policy Applies
This Policy describes the information I collect from you, how I use that information and the basis for doing so. It also covers whether and how that information may be shared and your rights and choices regarding the information you provide to me. By choosing to share your personal data with me and using the services I offer, you are acknowledging you have understood and agreed to the terms this Privacy Policy.
When and how I collect your data
I do not collect any personal information about you except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information. You may choose to share your data with me in various ways, including but not limited to:

When you provide your personal data in this way you are giving me permission to hold this data and process your information in appropriate ways, in line with this Privacy Policy.
You may provide this information to me via various online platforms including my website and a small number of trusted and secure third-party services I use for managing bookings and capturing data via online forms and surveys.
Your data will be held and processed in a limited number of carefully controlled systems, which I also use to fulfil my normal coaching activities, including the trusted third-party platforms I use for email communications, social media, accounting systems, relationships management and secure data storage and backup.
I only collect information for legitimate purposes in ways which are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in support of the aims of my life coaching. I endeavour to ensure that the information I hold is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. And I take steps to ensure that any personal data that is inaccurate is rectified or erased without delay.
If you wish to access, update or request deletion of your personal information I will ensure that such requests are always acted on in a timely and appropriate way (see details below).
What do I do with the data you provide

I use the information you share with me to provide you with useful and relevant information in support of my life coaching. This includes:

Sending you relevant information about the specific part of my life coaching that you have engaged with (e.g. a life coaching session you are attending or interested in)

Sending you occasional updates about my life coaching which I feel is relevant and appropriate

Letting you know about upcoming events, sessions, discounts, or activities, where these are considered to be relevant and appropriate

Talking about the information with you during life coaching sessions which I provide

Consent: where possible I will ask for your consent to use your data. Your consent is given to me when you choose to share your information with me in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Legitimate Interest: in some cases, I may process your data to pursue legitimate interests in a way that might reasonably be expected as part of offering life coaching services and that does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests.

I have procedures in place to ensure that information you provide is processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent way. I will only hold your information on my systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or until you request it is deleted.
Opting out from my communications
You can opt out from my communications at any time. This can be done by contacting me and asking to opt out from receiving any direct updates.
Accessing your data and keeping it up to date
If you would like to find out what information I hold about you, or let me know about any changes to your information, you can do this at any time by contacting me and informing me of the change.
When sending you an email I will also often include a link where you can see the data you have provided to me and make changes to this if needed to keep it up to date.
How I keep your data secure
I take your privacy very seriously and I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect. This includes protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
When and how I may share your data
In order to carry out my life coaching services, your data may be processed by one or more trusted service providers which I use to operate elements of my service and process data on my behalf. For example, I may need to share your name, and the services you have used with my chosen accountants to properly process financial paperwork.
Where such data is provided to third parties it will always be on a limited and controlled basis and they will not have detail required to contact you directly.
The information you provide to me will not be shared with any other entity or organisation without your explicit consent.
Links to other websites and resources
My website contains links to other websites and resources of interest. Once you have used these links to leave my site, you should note that I do not have any control over these other websites. Therefore, I cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy. You should exercise caution and look at the Privacy Policy applicable to the website or online service in question.
Asking for your personal data to be deleted
As described above, you are able to opt out of receiving my direct updates, emails, or invitations to coaching and events at any time by contacting me directly.
You may also ask at any time for your personal data to be deleted from my systems, by contacting me directly.
If you withdraw your consent to my processing your data, I will delete your personal data from systems on which I hold it within four weeks.
